Responsibilities

 

  • The Financial Analyst will partner with areas of the business, to carry out a variety of financial reporting and analysis functions.
  • This position will be responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, and preparing various reporting packages and summaries of results to be used at various levels within the organization.
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Responsible for the review of the affiliates’ monthly operational data upon submission, and perform thorough analysis of the data
  • Assist in the development of the annual financial business plans and forecast
  • Participate in special projects, provide value added Ad-Hoc Analysis
  • Provide support for the creation of quarterly and other management reports to executive team and external audience
  • Review and submit monthly/quarterly Affiliates operational data
  • Work as part of a team to ensure operational data from each firm is accurately reflected in the systems, and report assets and client flows data for earnings presentation and 10Q/10K
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts; this includes working on the forecast model and summaries on variance analysis
  • Assist in the development of the annual operating plans, including consolidation of financial projections from Affiliates and internal cost centers

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics
  • MBA preferred
  • 1-6 years’ experience in finance
  • High level of knowledge with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Financial services industry knowledge a plus
