Finance Operations Manager

Central, NJ

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for full life cycle financial client account management inclusive of invoicing, relationship management, financial reporting and contract interpretation.
  • Analyze and resolve problems related to the receipt of payment by understanding and enforcing contractual terms in a timely and thorough fashion.
  • Create and audit monthly invoices from individual client contracts for assigned client base.
  • Manage departmentally assigned tasks (P&L analysis, ad hoc reporting requests, etc.)
  • Identify and resolve root cause process inefficiencies to increase operational relay of information to the finance department.
  • Provide leadership efforts for the finance department changes (best practices, technology, etc.)

 

Requirements

 

  • 5-7 years’ minimum experience as a Finance professional in small to mid-sized organizations.
  • Ability and desire to work in a very fast-paced environment that is less structured than larger organizations requiring a highly entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strategic thinker, decision maker and risk taker who is passionate about our clients; smart / resourceful / innovative and an absolute team player.
  • Highly computer literate – Advanced Excel is a MUST, QuickBooks, Warehouse Management Systems or tableau experience a plus.
  • Supply chain, warehouse distribution and/or logistics knowledge very desirable.
