Facilities Support Manager

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a leader and manager of an internal staff that communicates and coordinates with outside vendors, contractors, and repair companies to fix any emergency and or
  • Ability to come up with new and innovative ways to reduce R&M tickets via education, preventative maintenance and equipment/process improvement
  • Aptitude to consistently coach/train the support team specialist
  • Improve production through use of current and new innovative systems
  • Ability to speak with customers on
  • Create and improve annual operating budgets and make cost saving suggestions
  • Ability to coordinate all contracted services and subcontractors

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • 3+ years of experience as Project Manager or Maintenance/Facilities Manager
  • A solid understanding of all construction trades and how to manage them in a repair/maintenance and preventative maintenance capacity
  • Ability to lead 5 or more team members
  • Equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
  • Must be an excellent communicator
  • Time management, and leadership ability
  • Proven innovator who is constantly sourcing and implementing better processes, systems, procedures, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Exhibits and requires a strong sense of urgency
