Executive Vice President – Private Equity Hybrid Funds

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and enhance client relationship by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/ product offering.
  • Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services
  • Work closely and participate with Business Development and Senior Management teams on marketing pitches and other client presentations.
  • In partnership with the Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
  • Review private equity fund client’s partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials
  • Develop & implement best practice standards and drive towards efficiencies
  • Maintain pristine compliance with local regulators and internal/external auditors
  • Establish & document business contingency plans for all areas of responsibility
  • Set challenging team goals & empower people to achieve them
  • Keep people focused on critical goals & deadlines through frequent & consistent communication
  • Motivate people by creating a high performance environment that is both challenging & exciting

 

Requirements

 

  • 12 to 15 years private equity hybrid (debt/equities) experience working at a fund administrator or fund manager
  • Experience in managing client relationships and/or with the controllership function of an alternative asset manager
  • Skills in negotiation, business planning and budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations and technical accounting
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting
  • Knowledge of waterfall structures, modeling and calculations desirable
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation a plus
