Requirements

 

 

  • Supervise the accounting and financial reporting process for the firm’s equity compensation plans. Ensure the participant reporting and financial statements are accurate and complete
  • Actively monitor plan tax-related issues, to ensure compliance with tax regulations, and minimize tax exposure/expense. Work with tax advisors and counsel regarding treatment of investment positions subject to special treatment.
  • Manage the work performed by the third-party administrator which includes:
  • Quarterly reporting;
  • Periodic cash distributions;
  • Coordinate the fund waterfall on-boarding process with the third-party administrator and the fund accounts team. Work with the third-party administrator on the configuration of the waterfall.
  • Manage and review the work performed by the equity compensation analyst(s)
  • Coordinate the distribution wiring process with fund accountants, third party administrators, and management
  • Coordinate the execution of procedures with participants, fund accountants and the legal and human capital/resource functions
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects, both operational and financial

 

 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • 5-7 yrs straight public, straight priv, or pub/priv
  • Must have PE fund accounting and ideally waterfall calc experience
