Digital Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

 

  • Become an expert on our in-house marketing technology platforms to serve as a digital expert to the Marketing teams.
  • Participate in weekly status meetings by providing prepared updates.
  • Coordinate with Social Media Manager to ensure consistent branding and timely promotion across digital properties.
  • Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives in financial services and digital marketing and be ready to apply these learnings when needed.
  • Be creative and able to recommend new ideas related to digital marketing efforts.
  • Assist with the strategy, content creation, and publishing of content to the websites through Content Management System (CMS)
  • Support redesign and rebuild of public websites.
  • Understand sitemaps, wireframes, page templates, and other architectural documents to be able to make recommendations for appropriate content as requested by marketing groups.
  • Assist with the strategy, content creation, and publishing of content to the websites.
  • Ensure website content is reviewed on a regular basis and all related links and promotions are current.
  • Work globally with colleagues and follow the global compliance process for all website content.
  • Coordinate day-to-day support of external websites with marketing teams and Technology resources.
  • Capitalize website ROI though user experience optimization tactics and web data analysis
  • Ensure onsite search engine is maximized for our 3 public facing websites.
  • Understand SEO concepts and ongoing changes in industry best practices to make recommendations to our sites

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 to 5 plus years of experience in sales and/or marketing•
  • Financial services experience a plus
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
  • Experience with marketing and advertising principles such as digital marketing, communications, media, and /or advertising agency experience
  • Familiarity with leading trends in user experience, online marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization and search engine marketing
  • General knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Experience working with external or in-house creative/Agency teams
