Data Integrity Lead

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive the development and maintenance of company data governance model and data management tools including the development of an integrity report framework focused on isolating data inconsistencies
  • Serve as the initial contact and frontline support for reporting requests from the business’ investment team
  • Organize and drive the creation of a platform wide reporting structure including considerations for executive users, power users and stand users – each having a different level of proficiency with data
  • Diagnose complex business problems and implement creative solutions that leverage core stack capabilities created by the technology team to meet our users’ needs
  • Take ownership of new account, entity and instrument setup with Sixth Street’s internal systems
  • Develop and monitor daily exception reporting focused on drive data accuracy within the platform

 

Requirements

 

  • Qualified candidates must possess a business or management degree with 8-10 years of applicable experience in the management of private equity data and the technical tools utilized for this management
  • Candidate must have experience leading team of internal and/or external analysts through process improvement and the onboarding of software solution to meet user mission critical objectives
  • Experience with data analysis and reconciliation, especially pertaining to accounting and financial reports
  • Candidate must have an understanding of SQL development and data monitoring, reconciliation, and mining
  • Candidate should have experience implementing and working with a strong data governance strategy Experience in best practices for how to leverage a data warehouse for financial services institutions required
  • Experience architecting technical solutions for complex problems and delivering them to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Candidate must have an understanding of ETL and data normalization from multiple sources
  • Experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices a plus
  • Experience in reporting, analytics, and data visualizations using cloud technologies such as Azure preferred
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor by building and managing relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and other industry professionals required
  • Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication (both oral and written) and analytical skills
  • Candidate must have knowledge of financial instruments and rudimentary understanding of valuation inputs or techniques
