Data/Business Analyst

  • Meet with Others: Ability to communicate with a client about the requirement needs of new software or checking in with a senior analyst to see what administrative tasks need attention. Collaborate with across multiple departments as the business analyst liaison for IT.
  • Analyze Information: As an Associate Business Analyst you will need to analyze and understand relationships in large data sets using Microsoft Excel and SQL and document in a way that is easily explained to other departments or clients for both new requirements and data exceptions resulting from governance processes.
  • Solve Operational Issues: Develop, standardize and maintain new or improved processes based on findings and analysis by offering suggestions on how to run things more efficiently and design ways to test out their theories.
  • Implement Changes: When a new procedure is created it is the business analyst role to coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews for modified and new processes, and other post-implementation support. Then work with others to communicate any process changes, enhancements and modifications verbally or through written documentation, to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.




  • Degree in computer science or business administration required.
  • Experience with data analysis highly desired.
  • Understanding of prioritization and analysis of requests as they come in to coordinate work to be completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to query and manipulate data through Microsoft XL and SQL. Experience with Access a bonus.
