Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the on-boarding procedure and new employee orientation
  • Offer administrative support, all-encompassing of calendar management to the Director of People Resources
  • Authenticate data input by employees or other admins in ADP, guarantee HRIS is precise and up to date, deliver reports, and process new hires and any changes in the system
  • Process paperwork with payroll department.
  • Perform general office administrative work such as maintain the HR filing system for all current and past employees, support meeting and conferencing needs, assist in vendor relationship management
  • Understand and advise employees/management on Institute practices, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the benefits administration including annual open enrollment and train to back up the Benefits Associate
  • Assist with the administration of leaves of absence and Workers’ Compensation
  • Respond to requests for employment verification
  • Work with Director to maintain the People Resources section of the company’s intranet.
  • Support employee engagement activities
  • Administer offboarding process and internal transfers by sending exit surveys, assisting with exit interviews, and processing termination paperwork.
  • Constantly look for ways to automate and improve processes
  • Support and help with ad hoc projects and requests as well as other duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements

 

  • At least a year of work experience, ideally in a customer intensive environment
  • ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS systems
  • Tech savvy – able to navigate and troubleshoot job posting sites, online benefit enrollments
  • A genuine interest in human resources operations, talent management, diversity and inclusion efforts
