Responsibilities

 

  • Manages and oversees all financial activity for the client and all related entities
  • Oversees portfolio of assets budgeting, accounting and cash management to ensure accurate reporting, interpretation and analysis of financial results in conjunction with forecasts and long-range plans
  • Oversees and approves the completion of timely financial statements
  • Recommends, documents and implements all Financial and Accounting Policies
  • Manages and supervises the Financial and Accounting functions, inclusive of direct and indirect reports
  • Takes accountability for financial management and departmental and organizational results
  • Owns the compilation of and adherence to annual budget(s)
  • Develops organizational financial goals and manages liquidity
  • Monitors all financial metrics and executes appropriate proactive and corrective measures
  • Manages banking relationships and line of credit
  • Manages selection and utilization of financial IT systems
  • Proactively manages and monitors cash flow to ensure all operational needs are appropriately met
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

 

Requirements

 

  • 4-year degree in related field required
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
  • CPA Certification highly preferred
  • 10 years’ experience in corporate Finance/Accounting required
  • Financial experience within the Construction Management and/or Real Estate Development industry required inclusive of project financing at a management level
  • Previous management experience including a demonstrated ability to lead a process focused time of professionals
  • Proficiency with Sage 300 products highly preferred
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial management & reporting
