  • Retiree Administration Support: Work with vendors to ensure medical and life insurance coverage. Oversight for the transition for active to retired status. Manage medical plan elections and bill payments with vendors. Update vendor integrations with new retirees to ensure portability of life and retiree Medicare exchange.
  • Benefits Administration/Operations: Oversee the annual open enrollment process for retirees and employees on disability manage regulatory mailings, i.e. SARs, NOCC and notifications of OE changes. Day-to-day activities include interface with Payroll and the external benefits administration teams to ensure timely and accurate benefit deductions, and perform monthly reconciliations for direct bill, liaise with benefit carriers regarding employee benefit issues and ensure issue resolution, liaise with HRDirect as ‘Tier 2’ support, monthly interaction with Controllers providing UHC direct bill premium reimbursement allocation., Training on US benefits invoice process
  • Leave of Absence Oversight: Oversight for US leave administration (i.e., sick leave, FMLA, Worker’s Comp, etc.) for approximately 300 unique leaves per year. Key contact for employees/managers and liaison between third party administrator – with overall responsibility for ensuring that the employee goes out on leave and is returned from leave in an effective manner. Ensures Payroll changes are linked to LOA activity.
  • Global Well-Being Coordination: Support planning of any wellbeing initiatives and manage incentive/points administration.




  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related disciplines
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in HR Benefits or related fields preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to all types of leaves of absence, including ADA, FMLA and Worker’s Compensation, a plus.
  • HIPAA certification, a plus
  • Workday experience a plus, not required
  • Experience with MetLife a plus, not required
