Associate Director, Workplace Strategy Lead

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in executing cross-functional (often large scale) change initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Corporate Services and the Corporate Services team to ensure operational rhythm between functions and partners (Global Technology, Finance, Human Capital, Branding, Third-party vendors, contractors and suppliers, etc.) in order to manage project deliverables, timelines and risks. This includes ensuring that all functions are working in coherence with the purpose of achieving organizational/firm’s goals and workplace strategy.
  • Establishes processes to manage and track annual organizational goals. Prioritize work for projects, sources other needed resources, monitors progress, and takes ongoing corrective action as needed
  • Institute best practices in project management, cross-functional communication and framework establishment for communicating target state or strategic vision to Corporate Services staff members and key stakeholders across departments. Oversee governance in all functions.
  • Act as a customer service contact of Corporate Services ensuring a consistent and high degree of service is offered to all company stakeholders and employees across every facet of Corporate Services; provide direction, support and leverage to sub-functions and regions as needed
  • Develop and maintain financial analysis models to assist in project prioritization and approval process
  • Assist and participate in the preparation of annual operating, capital and comp budgets
  • Develop new Metrics program for tracking performance, placing accountability on functional owners
  • Establishes regular and professional dashboard reporting for senior management in coordination with third-party project management consultants
  • Partner with Vendor Management Office to ensure compliance while ensuring integrity of relationships
  • Continuously refine global workplace standards as the modern post-pandemic workplace pushes the need for change.
  • Assist on the execution of contract negotiations with general vendors, contractors and other consultants

 

Requirements

 

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, corporate services or related field; substantive prior office management experience overseeing sizeable business operations, real estate, and administrative/support infrastructure.
  • Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellence
  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field (i.e. architecture, engineering, facilities management, real estate finance, etc.)
  • Strong analytical experience. Financial Services/Asset Management experience desirable.
  • Experience in the financial services sector/corporate real estate environment is preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrix management environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of principles, processes and standards of real estate transactions and office interiors construction a plus
