Associate Director – Private Equity & Real Assets

Responsibilities

 

  • Custom Modeling for PE RA and Managed Accounts fund raising efforts including track record creation, waterfall model creation
  • Prepare Fund related regular updates and outcomes analyses for Senior Management.
  • Responsible for Managed Account Modeling and Reporting to Senior Management and Marketing.
  • Quantitative analysis and model development for business planning and analysis including Management and carried interest projections.
  • Participate in PE and RA Outcomes Analysis process to produce investment level and fund level performance projections including base case, upside and downside cases
  • Monitor, track and analyze performance at the Investment, portfolio and fund level. Includes fund modeling, track record creation, with a goal of maximizing investment performance at the portfolio and fund levels, while working closely with senior members of the US real estate business
  • Work closely with investment team members and external parties to: i) track asset-level information; and, ii) identify opportunities to efficiently organize and present key data and trends
  • Maintain the integrity of internal processes and databases used to track key performance and investment metrics at the investment, portfolio levels
  • Prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor communication materials, including investor questionnaires, fund performance queries, presentations and reports, while collaborating with client’s Marketing and Deal teams
  • Creating and maintaining Investment level attributes that enables analysis at various levels

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services / investment management/accounting with an understanding of Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Equity Funds.
  • Excellent quantitative analytical and modeling skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Access, Macros, Power Point.
  • Knowledge of performance measurements (e.g. IRR, TWR, ROE)
  • Strong judgment needed to: i) foresee potential risks and roadblocks to task completion; and, ii) identify effective solutions
  • Excels in a rigorous and fast-paced work environment.
