Architect, Ground Up

We are representing an Architect position for a design / develop / build firm in Philadelphia. The company’s pipeline, like their reputation, is soaring, and both ground up, mixed-use multi-family buildings throughout the city, New Jersey, and along the East Coast.

They seek a Registered Architect to take their in-house architectural division to the next level. This is someone who is capable of juggling multiple mid-to-large-scale projects from schematics through CDs, someone equally comfortable with putting together design presentations as they are performing construction administration. This is an opportunity to put your own design stamp on the next wave of buildings in Philadelphia.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Strong Project Management experience, capable of managing 3-4 projects throughout multiple phases at once
  • Experience managing the design, budgets, schedules, and overall workflow of multiple high mid-to-high-end, mixed-use multi-family residential design
  • Ability to navigate Department of Building requirements, understands city code, and who has a firm grasp of the MEP, Civil, and Structural trades
  • High level of design and technical ability, particularly in the production of Construction Documents
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in relation to communicating (clearly and in a timely manner) with clients, consultants, and in-house team members

 

Requirements

 

  • 5-10 years of architectural design and/or architectural project management experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Proficiency AutoCAD
  • Registered Architect
