Alternative Credits Analyst

Responsibilities

 

  • Acting as a bridge with the clients external managers
  • Help senior portfolio manager in managing outside manager relationships and data
  • Aid in the formulation of monthly reporting and portfolio analytics
  • Create one-of-a-kind content for team, including ad-hoc portfolio analysis, research content, investment data requests and manager performance commentary
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for external manager meetings
  • Work with other departments including operational due diligence, middle and back office teams as part of investment process
  • Help monitor external manager data and prepare manager research reports
  • Maintain qualitative and quantitative databases

 

Requirements

 

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience, ideally from an investment bank analyst training program or in private/alternative investments external manager selection and analysis
  • BA/BS
  • Have acquired (or are working towards) your CFA charter or an equivalent degree
  • Coursework in computer science and/or programming
