Accounting Manager- Spanish Speaker

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain books and records and perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Manage and prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow projections and quarterly spending reports (including budgets, Cash Activity and Balance Sheet)
  • Oversee and assist in receipt reconciliation and payment processes
  • Assist in financial management of the family with budget reports and spend rate schedules
  • Liaise with and assist legal counsel and tax advisors; including assisting CPAs with tax preparation and partnering with advisors for tax guidance around US businesses
  • Track personal and business investments
  • Oversee key vendor relationships
  • Interface with ultra-high net worth individuals overseas and domestically and their affiliated businesses and charities
  • Identify areas for process improvement and establish efficiencies and enhanced reporting and analytics

 

Requirements

 

  • BS/BBA in Accounting. CPA+.
  • MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH (written & speaking)
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience working for a family office, CPA or law firm or a wealth advisory firm.
  • Strong technical skills needed. QuickBooks expertise, Microsoft office experience.
