As Co-Founder of Atlantic Group, John Ricco started the firm in 2006 with a focus on serving the Accounting/Finance needs of companies over a broad range of industries, specifically asset management. Since inception the firm has grown to an industry leading recruitment and temporary staffing firm serving multiple locations, industries and lines of business.

Prior to starting Atlantic Group, John was an experienced public accountant from KPMG where he was a key strategic member of KPMG’s New Media Practice where he was responsible for leading several high profile .com IPO’s.

John has a passion for the recruitment industry and believes that strong relationships are what drives success in both business and in life. John has been featured in Crain’s, Forbes, The Financial Times, US News & World Report, CFO Magazine, eFinancial Careers, Big4.com, and Glassdoor.com. John is a CPA and a graduate from the State University at Albany with a BS in Accounting. John resides on Long Island, is an accomplished musician, enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and coaching his sons various sports teams.

As Co-Founder of Atlantic Group, Rich is actively involved with the strategic vision of the firm as well as continuing to manage a full cycle recruitment desk focusing specifically on Private Equity and Hedge Fund back and middle office roles within the CFO & COO verticals.

From the beginning, Rich had a vision of a recruiting firm that was focused operationally on honesty and integrity, complete transparency, with a process that was cleaner than the industry was, and still is, accustomed to. Being entrusted with someone’s career is an important responsibility, and Rich helped create the principles that now drive how we gain and maintain that trust from both our clients and those professionals that seek our help with their careers.

Rich is often quoted in both printed and online publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s, Forbes, Hedge Fund Alert and The New York Times. He also has shared his industry insights and expertise as a speaker at various recruiting and Hedge Fund CFO conferences.

Prior to founding Atlantic, Rich spent a few years as an auditor in public accounting and then joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he helped oversee their Private Equity accounting & finance operations for 8 years as a Vice President. He graduated with honors from SUNY Oneonta with a double major in Economics & Accounting and was a member of the varsity basketball team.

Jason, a Partner in the NYC office, joined Atlantic Group in 2007. Jason leads all Accounting, Finance and Operations recruiting efforts within the scope of financial services, especially the alternative investment space. He is in charge of internal training of new and existing employees within the Accounting & Finance division in NYC. Prior to joining Atlantic Group, Jason was a pitcher in the Colorado Rockies organization after graduating from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He resides in Staten Island, NY with his wife and two young sons.

Joe Pitino joined The Atlantic Group in 2012 and is a Partner in the Accounting and Finance practice in the New York office, where he focuses on permanent placements with a specialty in the Accounting/Finance & Investor Relations/Marketing verticals. Prior to joining Atlantic, Joe spent over 10 years in the New York office of a Fortune 500, publicly traded recruitment & staffing firm, and began his career with a boutique, Finance & Accounting search firm. Joe graduated from the University of Delaware where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Since graduating, Joe has identified and helped counsel hundreds of clients and candidates through the executive recruitment process. Joe lives in Livingston, NJ with his wife and two children.

Peter joined Atlantic Group in 2011 and is a Senior Managing Director within the Finance and Accounting division. His efforts focus on assisting both clients and candidates and has placed hundreds of finance professionals into the private sector throughout his career. His clients include well-known consulting firms, alternative asset managers, and start-up and established technology firms. In addition to bespoke roles, he leads small and large scale requisitions for immediate or multi-year human capital build-outs. He is also passionate about ESG and diversity and inclusion efforts, and enjoys working collaboratively with his clients in an ever-changing recruiting landscape. Prior to Atlantic Group, Peter worked at PwC and graduated from Penn State University. He is originally from the Philadelphia area and currently resides in NYC with his dog Kori.

Growing up in western Massachusetts, Daniel has a passion for sports, health & fitness which makes him a great fit for our Health Services Division.

Prior to joining Atlantic Group, Sagar spent several years at a publicly-traded staffing firm, and prior experience included time at Merrill Lynch as a Portfolio Analyst. Andy Golden joined Atlantic Group in 2012 and is a Partner in the Stamford, CT office. Prior to joining Atlantic Group he spent nearly 10 years with a Fortune 500 publicly traded staffing firm where he served as a Managing Director running one of the most profitable offices in the country, and started his career in retained search with Kindred Partners where he focused on helping to build venture capital backed early-stage companies. Andy is a graduate of Roanoke College in Virginia where he was involved in acting and directing and was also a member of the men’s varsity lacrosse team. Additionally, Dan oversees recruitment teams in the NYC and Stamford offices which services a wide range of clients in the tri-state area. Prior to joining Atlantic Group, Dan spent 12 years at a Fortune 500 publically traded staffing firm where he worked as a Practice Director growing their temporary staffing footprint in 2 different markets. Dan is a graduate of Roanoke College where he was a member of the men’s varsity lacrosse team and the recipient of the Paul S. Griffin award, and award given to those who demonstrate outstanding leadership and dedication to the team. Dan resides in Ridgefield, CT with his Wife and 3 daughters. Keith Mayer joined the Atlantic Group in 2018 as a Senior Associate in the Philadelphia office specializing in the recruitment of accounting, finance and tax professionals. Prior to joining the Atlantic Group, Keith spent over 4 years with Ernst & Young specializing in financial services audit. From there, Keith joined the J.G. Wentworth Company where he spent 22 years in their operations culminating with taking them public on the NYSE in 2014. Keith is heavily involved in the community as a mentor to several students that attend and have attended the Cristo Rey High School of Philadelphia. In 2016, Keith was named the Supervisor of the Year as selected by the whole student body, a field that included 90+ supervisors. His passion for kids, their development and education is a driving force in his life. Keith graduated from La Salle University and currently resides in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia where he can be seen walking his three dogs Kaylee, Kennedy and Vance in a very fashion forward outfit.

Joining the Atlantic Group in September 2023 as the Director of Real Estate & Construction, Evan brings over 16 years of experience to the table. Commencing his career in 2007 within the construction sector, Evan transitioned to the recruiting side of the business in 2011, specializing in Engineering and eventually managing a dedicated team in Atlanta. His expertise led him to establish his own staffing firm, focusing on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. In the two years preceding his tenure with the Atlantic Group, Evan served as the Director of Construction and Property for a global search firm. He divides his time between Atlanta and Orlando, where he finds enjoyment on the golf course and is an avid supporter of Atlanta sports.

Kyle began his career in the construction industry performing manual labor, advancing into project management of retail convenience stores and petroleum services. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated from Father Judge High School and Gwynedd Mercy University where he was a member of the men’s soccer team. He enjoys watching Philadelphia sports, playing soccer, and spending time at the Delaware beaches in the summer with his family. He resides in Northeast Philadelphia.

Todd joined the Atlantic Group in 2018 as a Senior Managing Director to lead our Front Office Capital Markets Practice. He brings over 20 years of experience with specific knowledge in electronic markets and quantitative and systematic trading across all asset classes within banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, asset management and sophisticated family offices. Prior to joining the Atlantic Group, Todd worked at and built his own global capital markets search firm. Todd is a decorated veteran and was honorably discharged from the USMC where he served as a CH-53E Crew Chief. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys his Harley Davidson, scuba diving, and flying single engine airplanes

He began financial services recruiting with a large, publicly traded staffing agency in 2015 after starting his career in fund accounting with Northern Trust Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and resides in the River North area of Chicago.

Charlotte is a Managing Director in our London office leading our EMEA Capital Markets practice. She has over 15 years experience in Executive Search and her expertise lies in Quantitative and Systematic Trading on the Buy-side, Sell-side, and FinTech space. Prior to joining Atlantic Group, Charlotte launched her own eFICC Markets search firm which was subsequently acquired by Options Group where she spent 2 years as an ED specialising in Electronic Markets. She has a restless curiosity towards Applied Sciences and the new developments and technology enhancements that are shaping the future of Finance. Charlotte speaks fluent Italian, French and Spanish and hold a Master’s Degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies) and a BA (Hons) in International Relations from University of Bologna with a Thesis on NATO completed at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is an environmentalist and has a strong interest in International Politics, with a focus on refugees policy.

Max joined the Atlantic Group as an Associate Director in January 2022 to help continue the expansion of our Capital Markets business in EMEA. Based in London, Max is covering Systematic and Quantitative Trading mandates on the Buy-Side for Hedge Funds and Proprietary Trading Firms including low latency algorithmic trading, as well as recruiting in the growing Digital Assets sector following continued Institutional demand. While predominantly covering European hubs, Max has an extensive network throughout the US and Asia covering global mandates for clients.

Max previously spent 6 years in search on FICC Electronic Trading teams covering front office roles globally which included Sales, Trading, Product Management and Quantitative Research functions for Buy-side, Sell-side and the FinTech space. Max graduated from the University of Kent studying Drama and Theatre Studies gaining a Masters Degree in Directing, subsequently working professionally in Casting for Film and Theatre before moving into Executive Search within Financial Markets.

Emily grew up in a small suburb outside of Boston and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she received a degree in Accounting. Her strong passion for people and energetic personality led her to move to NYC and make a career change to recruiting. She now specializes in permanent placements with a focus on accounting, investment operations, investor relations, executive assistant, valuations, and treasury roles. When she’s not recruiting, Emily is planning trips with family and friends or discovering new restaurants.
