Job Overview – Sales Manager

Join our client's team as a Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth by overseeing a high-performing sales team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our client's dynamic organization while enjoying competitive benefits.

Compensation: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 + bonus + vehicle allowance 
Location: Harris County, TX – Onsite

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager include:

  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales objectives with overall business goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to sales team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales team members to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management review.

Qualifications of the Sales Manager include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales management experience.
  • Previous experience in “waterworks” industry (piping, valves, fittings, etc.) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve excellence.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
