Job Overview – Manager of Financial Reporting
Join our client's prestigious private investment firm as a Manager of Financial Reporting and play a critical role in managing financial reporting, investor relations, and SEC reporting activities. This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a significant impact on the firm's success.

Compensation: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 + bonus
Location: Delaware County, PA – Onsite

Responsibilities as the Manager of Financial Reporting include:

  • Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer/Corporate Controller, oversee all aspects of financial reporting for the private investment firm.
  • Manage a team of corporate accountants, providing leadership and guidance in the preparation of financial statements, SEC filings, and investor presentations.
  • Take a hands-on approach to financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly earnings presentations, earnings call scripts, and other investor communications materials.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investor relations, responding to inquiries, participating in investor meetings, and maintaining positive relationships with investors and analysts.
  • Stay current on accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry trends, providing guidance to senior management on potential impacts to the firm's financial reporting practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
  • Uphold a culture of excellence and integrity within the financial reporting function, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications of the Manager of Financial Reporting include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Big 4 or Tier 2 public accounting firm, with active SEC clients.
  • Experience in REIT or financial services industry preferred, with a strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and excellence in financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software applications.
