Job Overview – Lead Superintendent
Join our client's team as a Superintendent and take charge of running projects independently in Mercer County, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects across various markets, contributing to the growth and success of our client's organization.

Compensation: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 + bonus + vehicle allowance
Location: Mercer County, New Jersey

Responsibilities of the Lead Superintendent include:

  • Independently manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met within budget and schedule.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project team members.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members to promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.

Qualifications of the Lead Superintendent include:

  • 5+ years of experience running projects independently in various markets, including healthcare, life sciences, medical office buildings, etc.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
