Inside Sales Account Manager

Montvale, NJ

Our client is a technology solutions firm based in NY & NJ. Founded over 15 years ago, they sell, implement and support the IT environments of clients in the Northeastern US. They are a value added reseller, system integrator and consultancy company that delivers virtualization, cyber security, application development and desktop solutions. They also work with their partners to place talented IT professionals. They been extremely successful and are now looking to add a Inside Sales Account Manager to their NY team.



  • Create, Track and Update all activities in CRM system
  • Follow up on all tasks and leads
  • Generate complex product and services quotes by working with high profile customers, vendors, distributors and internal resources
  • Process orders and quotes for both new and existing customers
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Account Manager
  • Track and process licensing and maintenance renewals for customers
  • Assist in business development.
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Gain industry knowledge through sales technology training sessions
  • Obtain and maintain vendor sales certifications
  • Learn and utilize Gotham’s internal systems
  • No Cold Calling is required for this position – this position is support and account management for existing accounts

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, speed and accuracy in executing tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and mange time effectively
  • Self- Starter, capable of working independently or as a part of a team
  • Experience in tiered pricing structures, discount percentages, and margins
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (e.g., proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and the ability to create complex formulas) is a plus



  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ of sales support experience
  • Experience in a technology consulting firm, or knowledge of the technology industry
  • A financial background is a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, seeking long-term employment, and be focused on upward mobility
