Job Overview – Controller
Join our leadership team as a Controller, reporting directly to the CAO. As a pivotal figure in our finance and accounting functions, this role oversees day-to-day accounting, billing, receivables, and closely collaborates with payables. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing acquisitions, engaging in reporting, analysis, and fostering financial growth within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Compensation: $170,000.00 – $200,000.00 + bonus
Location: Brevard County, FL – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Controller include:
- Manage accounting, billing, and receivables.
- Play a key role in overseeing financial aspects of acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and financial success.
- Engage in regular reporting, analysis, and financial presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with payables and provide oversight to the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Work closely with owners who are PE professionals, contributing to strategic financial decision-making.
Qualifications of the Controller:
- 10+ years of accounting experience in public/private sectors, excluding straight public accounting roles.
- Ability to present financials to PE professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Strong social and verbal skills, with experience or potential to work closely with executive leadership.
