Business Development Analyst

Responsibilities include assisting in the creation of marketing presentations, due diligence materials, and customized investor materials as well as preparing responses to DDQs and other investor information requests. This position will also have an on-going internal / external client-relationship management responsibility that includes facilitating regular client interactions, portfolio updates and ad hoc client projects. The successful candidate must be self-directed, have strong presentation and PowerPoint skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.




Global Credit Sales Project Management (80%)

  • Assist existing fund teams during the launch of a new fund, co-investment or the pre-marketing of a successor fund
  • Analyze and understand the credit strategies and the terms and structure of the funds, managed accounts and other products being offered
  • Prepare marketing materials (investor presentations, due diligence materials, case studies etc.) to support the fundraising process
  • Assist in the drafting of responses to investor DDQs and other requests
  • Assist in drafting PPMs, flipbooks and other required marketing materials for funds, co-investments and managed accounts
  • Work with Sales Professionals to track prospective client interactions and takeaways
  • Prepare reporting for senior management summarizing the progress and overall status of fundraising initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales Professionals, Investment Professionals, Fund Management and Credit Management throughout fundraising process
  • Assist in the preparation of RFP responses across the Credit segment


Global Credit Professional Support (20%)

  • Team with fundraising sales professionals to achieve organizational fundraising goals
  • Prepare presentations and draft investors letters that provide periodic updates on the performance of funds, managed accounts and co-investments
  • Prepare and maintain market benchmarking and competitive analyses on strategies, fees and terms of competitor offerings
  • Evaluate the economics and feasibility of new managed accounts, new products or strategies
  • Support general fundraising through related / adjacent tasks i.e. “sidework”
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Sales Professionals, Fund Management, Investment Professionals, senior management and Legal;
  • Support Compliance objectives by liaising with the Legal and Compliance Department.
  • Coordination and logistics of client events, onsite meetings, webinar events, investor conferences




  • 1-2 years out of investment banking out of a leveraged finance group or loan syndicate desk
